There is no better way to start the New Year off than a refreshing dip into the freezing waters of Birch Bay!
2022 will mark the 39th annual celebration of the Polar Plunge in Birch Bay! We are excited to welcome plungers back to the shores of Birch Bay for this fun, annual tradition.
Location:
Staging for this year's event will take place in front of Beach Cat Brewing Company (7876 Birch Bay Drive. A large warming tent will be available courtesy of WECU.
Free Parking for this event will be located behind the Visitor Center (7900 Birch Bay Drive). Please utilize the North end of the parking lot and avoid the area behind CJ's Beachhouse and The Beach Bar. Thank you for being considerate of our neighbors.

The Plunge: Happens Promptly at 12:00 PM!
10:00 AM - Preregistration & T-Shirt Sales & Pre-order pickup.
11:00 AM - Costume Contest & Awards following.
Warming Tent provided by WECU for those wanting to warm up after the event.

This is a FREE event.
