Clamming 101 - Beach Explorations
Join us for Clamming 101, part of our Beach Explorations series, where you will learn the basics of clamming and experience the beauty of our local beaches. This educational outing is perfect for beginners and families who are curious about clamming and marine life. Our experienced guides will show you the best techniques for safely harvesting clams, and you will also gain a deeper understanding of the local ecosystem.

Location: Birch Bay State Park. Meet at the bp Heron Center.
Cost: Free. No registration required.
All ages are welcome, but please note that the rocky, slippery shoreline may be challenging for younger children or those with mobility concerns.
Please wear sturdy, water-resistant footwear to ensure your safety.
