Event Description:
Join in a walk around Birch Bay State Park for an historical overview of past occupation and use of the area(s). We will meet at the BP Heron Center and be discussing native habitation and archaeological discoveries, some known, some unknown to most, and some refuted! We will also discuss the early explorers, settlers, and the more recent past when Washington was a fledgling State and Whatcom County was forming communities.
