Event Description:
Everyone in the community is welcome to join this celebration and view the amazing canoes that stop in Birch Bay State Park as part of the 2026 Medicine Creek Potlatch Journey. From Vancouver Island, British Columbia, to Olympia, WA, a group of Native people from almost every tribe in the area set out on an annual water journey, making many stops along the way until they reach their final destination. It is a great way to learn more about Native Traditions and Culture.
