Event Description:

The annual Birch Bay Ring of Fire & Hope takes place on the shores of Birch Bay every New Year's Eve. Red biodegradable road flares are lit and placed near the water at 7:00 pm. People all around Birch Bay participate, the effect is beautiful and the entire bay looks like a string of red Christmas lights from end to end.


 

Location:
On the shores of Birch Bay from Birch Bay Village to Point Whitehorn in Birch Bay State Park.
Each year, the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce hands out a limited number of flares.
This year flares will be available starting at 1:00 PM at Beach Cat Brewing Co. located at 7876 Birch Bay Drive.
One flare per family will be given away thanks to Brooks Friedland & Dave Hiller of eXp Realty & Tays Safety Supply & the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce.

Time: The Ring of Fire & Hope starts promptly at 7 pm.
Flare Pick-up: Starting 1 PM on December 31st, 2021 until flares are gone.
Where: Beach Cat Brewing Co. located at 7876 Birch Bay Drive.

Donations to the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce are appreciated.
