Event Description:
Join Whatcom Land Trust at our California Creek – Timberline property! It is an approximately 41.15-acre parcel at the end of Creasy Road on California Creek near Custer. Approximately 1,800 feet of California Creek is located on the property and the property is estimated to be more than fifty percent wetlands. We will be cutting and grubbing blackberry.
Location:
Directions: From Bellingham take Interstate 5 North to Custer. Exit right on to Birch Bay – Lynden Road, take a left and cross the freeway. Turn left and travel south on Portal Way for approximately ½ mile, then turn right onto Valley View Road and travel south for ¼ mile. Turn right on Creasy Road and travel west for ¾ mile to the end. Look for the purple WLT signs!
